Our mission is to lessen the current effects of poverty and crisis in developing countries in the short term, whilst working to empower disadvantaged people and communities with a standard of living adequate for health and wellbeing in the long term. This includes, but is not limited to, working with impoverished communities to create sustainable projects and programs in the areas of nutrition and agriculture, safety and security, hygiene, medical care, environmental sustainability, and education. Our mission includes raising awareness and encouraging Australian communities to provide assistance by way of skills, money and support in any way that encourages self-respect, sustainability and wellbeing for both the giver and recipient communities. We work to help people, transform communities, stand in solidarity with the poor and needy, challenge injustice and oppression and ultimately make the world a safer, kinder and more hopeful place, creating a positive change for all.
